City Hall, 229 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
This is a demonstration rain garden at the City Hall complex in Rehoboth Beach to show residents and visitors the feasibility of creating rain gardens on their own property. A rain barrel collects runoff from the roof and feeds a low flow drip irrigation system in the bed. It is planted with native wildflowers, grasses, shrubs and understory trees. The city worked with the Center for Inland Bays and Envirotech to create this raingarden,
