Rain Garden Information

89 Kings Hwy, Dover, DE 19901
This rain garden is located in front of the main office building of Delaware's Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control (DNREC). It was designed & constructed by DNREC staff in April 2012. DNREC employees helped plant during the annual Recognition Ceremony. Plant species include cardinal flower, blueflag iris, turtlehead, river birch, winterberry, and cinnamon fern. During construction, we unearthed a historic building that we incorporated into the rain garden.
