Rain Garden Information

435 S Bancroft Pkwy, Wilmington, DE 19805
I created a shallow depression in my smallish urban backyard when installing a patio. I planted a variety of water-tolerant plants (yellow twig dogwood, hibiscus, itea, sedges, etc), and accented the area with river rock. The rain garden catches runoff from the patio and a steep hill in the rear of my property. Any overflow is directed into an existing storm sewer drain.
