Rain Garden Information

10223 Trappe Road, Berlin, MD 21811
This rain garden was installed as part of the renovation and revitalization of a historic Rosenwald school through partnership with the Germantown School Community Heritage Center, Inc. The project was coordinated by Grow Berlin Green, funded by Town Creek Foundation and installed with the help of Germantown School volunteers, the Town of Berlin, and Grow Berlin Green staff. The sunny area made this garden well suited for Helenium Mardi Gras, Baptisia australis and sphaerocarpa, Heuchera Caramel, Gaillardia Fanfare, Verbena Homestead Purple, and Aster Purple Dome.
