Rain Garden Information

Two rain gardens were planted in a central courtyard at Wicomico High School with the help of staff, science students, and special education students. The gardens were located in sunny sites near existing downspouts and planted with native species including Hibiscus, Iris versicolor, Heuchera, Phlox, Tradescantia virginiana, Panicum, Baptisia australis, Verbena, and Eupatorium.
