Rain Garden Information

The garden is part of the Ambler 100 Rain Gardens Campaign - a local campaign in the DE Estuary watershed. The garden is planted in a sunny side yard, with native perennials. Two downspouts are diverted directly into the rain garden(one with a rain barrel) and a third is diverted from a rain barrel via a hose during storm events. The depth of the rain garden is approximately 12 inches to accommodate temporary storage of water.
